Reboot Greencare launches in 2023. On our recently accredited care farm site we will focus on supporting the mental and physical health and wellbeing of our service users.
Service users will spend time outside working to care for our animals, taking part in activities in our Orchard and Woodland and growing plants and vegetables in our growing areas.
We accept children age 8-16 on a 1:1 and/or small group basis for a maximum of 8 hours per service user per week. Referrals can be made by Parents/ Guardians, Local Authorities, Health Care Commissioners and other Professionals.
The positive effects of being outdoors and connecting with nature and animals are now widely reported on and proven. We aim to support those children who have no suitable identified education setting, have a Special Educational Need, suffer from anxiety, are excluded from or are at risk of exclusion from education. (This is not an exhaustive list).
We expect a large amount of our service users will be Autistic and suffer from anxiety.
